- Description
Ruby Group are currently working with a rapidly growing international organisation within the insurance and financial services sector who are looking to appoint a Senior Technical Accounting Manager on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly acquisitive and evolving business that has continued to experience strong growth both organically and through strategic acquisitions. The organisation has established a strong reputation within its market and offers a modern and collaborative working environment alongside genuine long-term career progression opportunities. The position is fully remote with occasional travel into their Central London office, typically once every fortnight, and will report directly into the senior finance leadership team and directors.
The Senior Technical Accounting Manager will play a key role in supporting the group finance function across a range of technical accounting, IFRS and reporting matters. Responsibilities will include supporting the preparation and review of group and statutory reporting, providing technical accounting guidance across the business, assisting with acquisition accounting and integration activity, reviewing accounting treatments and policies, and partnering closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders across the organisation. The role will also support a variety of ongoing projects linked to the continued expansion of the group and will offer broad exposure across a complex international finance environment.
The successful candidate will ideally be ACA qualified and trained within a Big Four environment, with a strong background across technical accounting, IFRS and group reporting. Previous experience gained within a large corporate, private equity backed or acquisitive environment would be highly advantageous. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders, and a proactive and commercially minded approach. In return, the business offers an excellent benefits package, outstanding long-term progression opportunities and the chance to join a highly regarded organisation during an exciting phase of growth.
