International Financial Controller

Ruby Group is supporting an international business with the appointment of an International Financial Controller. This is a hands-on and important role within the finance function, reporting to the VP of Financial Control and managing a team of two. The successful candidate will take responsibility for day-to-day controllership across the Americas, Europe excluding the UK, and South Africa.

The role will include ownership of month-end and quarter-end close processes, management and group reporting packages, financial statistics and reporting analysis, group audit activity, strong financial controls across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting and developing a small finance team. We are looking for a driven, self-starting finance professional who can operate with a high level of ownership and demonstrate the seniority required to work with senior finance stakeholders. Experience in international controllership is particularly relevant, ideally alongside exposure to US GAAP and SOX. These are preferred rather than essential requirements. A strong practice-trained accountant at Manager level may also be considered where the wider experience and leadership qualities are right.
