- Description
- Ruby Group are recruiting a Finance Manager for a property group based in Central London. This role is permanent, is office based (some flexibility) and reports into the financial controller. This role offers a competitive salary, discretionary bonus and provides study support. The duties/responsibilities of the role are: -
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal postings, accruals & prepayments, monthly reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing the day to day transactional finance activities including income audit, AP and AR
- Provide support to the FC in the preparation of annual budgets and weekly & monthly forecasts
- Ensuring the accuracy of ledgers and compliance with the accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting practices
- Completion of internal control reviews and taking action to address any weaknesses identified.
- Providing support to internal and external auditors
- Attend & provide financial support & guidance at HOD meetings, as and when required, including payroll meetings and revenue meetings etc
- Active collaboration with other Finance colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and embedding best tools, systems & ways of working
- Maximising cashflow performance and managing procedures on inventory, credit & collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances
- In conjunction with the Financial Controller, providing training, guidance and advice to the operational & management team
- Achievement of agreed KPI targets
- Identifying opportunities to improve the effectiveness & efficiency of existing processes and procedures
- Provision of data, analysis and insight as requested by the FC.
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned and required
- Completion of duties in a timely and accurate manner
- Supports the development and implementation of Group wide finance system & process change projects
The ideal candidate will be an ACCA/CIMA or ACA studier interested in completing their qualification. They will have excellent communication skills, be confident on Excel and have a solid accounting foundation.
