FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Ruby Group are excited to be recruiting a Financial Accountant for a fast growing technology company based in London. It is a permanent position offering fully remote working with occasional meetings in London. This role is a newly created position due to the company's growth. It will report into the Financial Controller and be within a team of 5 qualified accountants. 
Please see below for the duties/responsibilities of the role: - 
 

• Preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS/USGAAP
• Preparation of technical accounting memos for complex transactions documenting key judgements and positions taken.
• Liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth audit process and timely filing of accounts.
• Outside of year end process, support the month end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Board via he Board Pack.
• Assist in the development and delivery of technical training presentations and other workshops or learning sessions.
• Assist in the drafting of subsidiary statutory financial statements
• Support the verification and tie-out process for earnings releases, scripts and any other relevant verifiable materials coordinating with the FP&A, commercial finance, legal, investor relations, corporate development and people teams to ensure that all quarterly KPIs are calculated correctly and in a timely manner.

 
The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience of IFRS and GAAP. The successful individual will be an excellent communicator and be comfortable working with senior management and external advisors. This role is perfect for an individual looking for a fast-paced environment as there the chosen candidate will be working to strict deadlines.
