Retail Finance Manager

Ruby Group are looking for a finance manager to join a fast growing fashion retail business located in west London. This is a newly created role reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will be. Financial staff management, motivation, training, recruitment and selection, Stock control, forecasting and reconciliations. Responsible for ensuring all general ledger balances are reconciled and are compliant with external auditing. Lead and drive the balance sheet review outlining risks. Responsible for invoice processing and payments. VAT returns and filings. Strong understanding of commercials, profitability and margin analysis. Enhancing controls and processes. To keep up to date with new practices and legislation that may impact your area of responsibility. You will also business partner the finance director in financial strategy and planning, management and reporting of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved.

The ideal applicant will have retail industry experience in stock control, forecasting and reconciliation. You will be at least part qualified in ACCA, CIMA or AAT. Have a minimum of four years experience working within a finance department. You must have supervised staff, be able to work well under pressure. Have excellent communication skills. Candidates that have used SAGE will have an advantage.
