- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent Eastbourne based Group Financial Controller position. The environment is bright, friendly and open plan with good benefits and opportunity for growth and progression.
They are an international business with heavy investment giving you regular exposure to external stakeholders where you will be making a strong impact within a short space of time. So far acquisitive growth has been the recipe for their success and they see this continuing with some interesting projects arising over the next few years.
You will be dealing with all aspects of finance, leadership and complex reporting and analysis within a high-intensity environment. Initiative, spark, adaptability, creativity and a solution based ethos will lead to success in this position.
On the softer side confidence and people skills are key as you will be regularly interacting with an impressive peer group, banks, external regulators while being hands-on with accounting and supporting and developing your junior colleagues.
The ideal Group Financial Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
· ACA (ICAEW), ACCA or CIMA qualifications (or equivalent)
· Exposure to external investors and acquisitions (desirable)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to lead and present
· Good technical and commercial accounting
