- Ruby Group are urgently recruiting for an interim Group Financial Controller based in The City of London for a recognised Private Equity backed global technology firm for an immediate start and the likelihood of a permanent position after a few months.
As the Interim Group Financial Controller, you will be well versed in preparing statutory accounts with associated disclosures under IFRS. You will need to be able to stomach being dropped in the deep end with limited guidance while having access to whatever you need to deliver under tight deadlines.
The role is extremely busy and there will be a level of ambiguity at least for the first part while you utilise existing disclosure templates and create new ones, drawing from various information sources.
The interim group controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, ICAS, ICAEW or equivalent)
• The ability to demonstrate multiple examples of producing year-end consolidated statutory accounts, balance sheets and cash flows
• Graft, grit and initiative with a high work ethic to go beyond the minimum requirements
