Financial Controller

Ruby group are looking for a Financial Controller to join a top 10 listed insurance business located in North London. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the financial, management and cost accounting for the business.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be: -

1. To Support the Group’s Finance & Investments strategies, plans, policies, processes and procedures
2. Implementing effective succession plans for all senior management and key positions within the teams
3. Maintaining the relationship with our parent Company
4. Delegating relevant authorities to direct reports as appropriate
5. Accurately producing the Group’s financial information in line with a published timetable
6. Implementing appropriate Business Continuity plans that are effective and in line with business requirements
7. Monitoring the function’s service level agreements and the associated KPIs
8. Responsible for the production of the Annual Report and Accounts and SII Return for Pinnacle Insurance. Ensuring that the accounts comply with the latest Statutory and regulatory rules (IFRS), regulation and standards
9. The key contributor to the production of the SFCR
10. Monthly and quarterly reporting
11. Managing information statements for all PIC clients that have commitments within their legal contract
12. Responsible for managing the accurate and timely posting of all the financial transactions and all the underwriting and expense payments of the business.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and will have 5-7 years PQE. They will also have extensive experience of delivering the statutory reporting under IFRS. If you are looking for a number 2 in finance with the scope to be number 1 in the next 12 months please apply below.
