- Ruby Group are recruiting for an interim opportunity suitable for a Financial Controller ideally within the media, production, creative communications events industry based in London.
The environment is very impressive with circa 150 people in the London office, a bar, restaurant and a high-end creative space. The business sits at around $35 mn t/o in London.
This is a very important hire for the business, in a nutshell, you will be preparing accurate monthly management accounts including the balance sheets along with managing the AR and AP teams (4 people) and keeping on top of the business cash flow. There will also be the opportunity to implement a new system within the contract period too.
The ideal Financial Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
- A full accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA (ICAEW), CIMA (ACMA), CA, ICAS or CPA)
- Over 2 years of post qualified experience
- Systems implementation exposure
- Advanced Excel skills
- Very strong interpersonal, influencing and management skills
- A Media, communications, PR or creative background is desirable
