- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent Finance Manager suitable for a recently qualified big 4 trained ACA (ICAEW/ICAS) accountant to work within a B2B technology growth firm in central London.
The business has a vision to change the face of their industry and are well on their way to doing so. Reporting into the CEO and the commercial finance lead, the role involves developing, scaling and managing the commercial and financial operations of a software firm that has tripled in size in the last 12 months and are backed by world-class VC investors. The role involves FP&A and modelling and has the potential to develop into a fully commercial position in future.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Acting as the number 2 to the Commercial Finance Lead in FP&A tasks including modelling and strategic partnership to the wider business
• Managing financial controls, policies and processes
• Manage external vendors to ensure smooth running of financial operations
• Taking ownership of the production of management accounts, statutory accounts, and working with their CEO on investor reports
• Seeking out methods for minimising financial risk for the company
• Providing insightful information and recommendations to senior executives to inform strategic decision making
The ideal Finance Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
• An ACA (or equivalent) accountancy qualification from a Big 4 Accounting Firm
• Excellent numeracy and excel skills
