- uby Group are recruiting for a temporary, Interim US Technical Accounting Lead within a technology business based in Central London.
They are in a great location next to a tube station in zone 1 and have a medium-sized London office with a wider team in international locations.
The company requires someone to lead and manage critical transition period involving reviewing and amending historic financial statements to make them fully compliant. We seek strong exposure to IFRS and US GAAP from a US-listed business.
Duties:
• Responsible controlling the standard of current and historic periodic submissions
• Lead on ongoing technical support to the business for matters of financial compliance with process, policy and accounting standards.
• Drafting of internal accounting policy papers under IFRS, US GAAP and PCAOB standards to guide business decisions and legal requirements
• Liaise with the group’s external auditors to communicate align on key accounting judgements and policy adoptions
The ideal Interim US Technical Accounting Lead will possess the following attributes/skills:
- An accountancy background (ideally with an ACCA, ACA or US CPA qualification)
- Top-level technical accounting skills
- US-listed company exposure
- IFRS, US GAAP and PCAOB exposure
This is an excellent opportunity for a Interim US Technical Accounting Lead to join a fantastic business in a great location with prospects for further extensions beyond the contracted period which I envisage could be circa 6, 9 or 12 months depending on how the project progresses.
