Ruby Group are recruiting a Group Reporting Director position for a FTSE business that has flexible working conditions. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are: -
- Managing the Group Finance reporting requirements and taking responsibility for the effective and timely delivery of consolidated financial and management reports, interim statements and financials for the annual Report and Accounts. This includes monthly cash flow forecasts, balance sheet, budgets and KPI reporting
- Managing a team of 5 qualified accountants and indirect reports
- Ensuring the Group accounting policies and finance manuals are appropriately formulated and communicated around the Group.
- Manage and control changes to Group accounting policies, including assessment of changes to accounting standards, preparation of critical reporting issues papers to the Group FC and the Board, provision of ad-hoc technical accounting support to senior finance officials and their teams across the Group
- Leading the preparation of the GAAP statutory accounts, including full commentary and analysis
- Ensuring full compliance and up to date application of IFRS
- Ongoing liaison with external auditors on all aspects of the Group audit process.
- You will also be involved with ad-hoc projects to deal with the changing environment due to the pandemic
The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in ACA/ACCA or CIMA with a minimum of five years post qualified experience, who has led a group finance function whilst working in a global company.
