- Description
Ruby Group are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a FTSE business based in West London. This role is a hybrid working role and is based within a team of 15 and reporting into the Financial controller. The duties/Responsibilities of the role are: -
- Prepare financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries from the US GAAP management accounts including all notes and disclosures for filing at Companies House.
- Be the main point of contact for external auditors and provide the data requested by them on a timely basis liaising with other departments and relevant contacts within the organization.
- Prepare tax computations for the company and ensure compliance with tax requirements in the UK keeping up to date with changing requirements
- Post all adjustments from corporate International accounting team and ensure correct mapping for all transactions. These include annual transfer pricing adjustments
- Prepare monthly intercompany profit adjustments and reconcile any intercompany differences on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly intrastat returns and quarterly VAT returns
- Ensure compliance of the company with the Corporate SOX controls review compliance on a weekly or monthly basis and report any exceptions to the financial controller
- Assist in the continual review, development and implementation of improvements to procedures and controls to ensure full compliance with SOX requirements
- Prepare monthly revenue recognition documentation for circulation to the US corporate accounting team liaising with the internal management team and obtaining relevant responses for review by general manager and Financial controller.
The ideal candidate has a professional qualification in ACA/ACCA or CIMA or equivalent, has strong excel skills, has experience with GAAP and IFRS. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be accustomed to working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
