Ruby Group are looking for a Financial Controller to join a family office that operates in Business Acquisitions and Property Development. This is a newly created position, historically the Finance function has been outsourced. Reporting into the Managing Director your responsibilities will be.
To create a finance function, developing processes control and systems, whilst supervising a team of two part qualified accountants. Produce the monthly management accounts pack incorporating P&L, cash flow forecasts and budgets. Filing and reviewing accounts and confirmation statements for a variety of companies, maintain accurate deal ledgers. Managing all financial transactions and banking matters. Managing monthly payroll process. Preparing quarterly VAT returns, reviewing financial statements, preparing year end accounts, and leading the Audit process.
The ideal applicant will have a professional qualification in either ACCA, ACA, or CIMA with at least two years post qualified experience. You must have produced a full set of monthly management accounts, managed the year end and Audit process. Excellent communication and Excel skills are essential.
