- Description
- Ruby Group are recruiting for an ACA (ICAEW or CA) qualified Financial Accountant with pensions experience for a 10 month fixed term or temporary/interim contract period (with a possible extension or permanent conversion) within the media industry based in central London. Our client are a high profile, FTSE listed recognised organisation. On top of your salary you will receive a 4k car allowance and 5 weeks annual leave. The role will suit a candidate with a strong financial accounting background who is quick to learn, self-starting and good at problem solving, your responsibilities will include:
- Initially taking on the Group's pension scheme accounting together with financial accounting, reporting and cash forecasting
- Thereafter the reminder of the contract will involve attaining broader experience within the group which might lad to opportunities beyond the 10 month period
- More specifically you will be accounting for four pension schemes for audit
- Reconciling investment balances and capital call commitments
- Completion of ONS (Office for National Statistics) returns
- Liaising with the group's pension investment and payroll departments, scheme auditors and investment managers
- Cash management and the prompt payment of invoices and amounts due to pensioners
